To play PowerPoint files in SlideDog you need Microsoft Office PowerPoint installed. For PDF documents you need Adobe Reader or Acrobat. We also recommend running SlideDog on a modern laptop with at least 8 GB of RAM. Essentially, it comes down to what files you want to show and how many files you intend to load into your SlideDog playlists. The more files, the more memory you’ll need, as SlideDog pre-loads all media before starting your show. Click Read More for a detailed description.
Recommended System Requirements
SlideDog supports Windows 7 and later editions. If you are on 7 or 8, it’s recommended that you enable Desktop Composition/Aero if you’re planning to use SlideDog’s dual screen mode. In Windows 10 this is enabled by default.
SlideDog will pre-load the files you add to your playlists and therefore we recommend having at least 8 GB of RAM and a modern processor.
SlideDog will run on most modern computers with Windows 7 or later, but we recommend using the latest version of Windows which is currently at version 10.
