To fully enjoy SlideDog for Windows you need a couple of third-party software packages installed. We also recommend running SlideDog on a modern laptop with at least 8 GB of RAM. That being said, it pretty much comes down to what files you want to show and the requirements of their file viewers. If a specific PowerPoint show runs fine on your laptop, it will run just as fine in SlideDog.
Recommended System Requirements
SlideDog supports Windows 7 and later editions. If you are on 7 or 8, it's recommended that you enable Desktop Composition/Aero if you're planning to use SlideDog's dual screen mode. In Windows 10 and 11 this is enabled by default.
SlideDog will pre-load the files you add to your playlists and therefore we recommend having at least 8 GB of RAM and a modern processor.
SlideDog will run on most modern computers with Windows 7 or later, but we recommend using the latest version of Windows which is currently at version 10.
